9/2022 - 12/2022: term 1 3D animation compilation

This is my first animations in 3D. The rigs and models are all purchased and distributed by CapU, I only do the animations. I learned a lot and gradually became more miserable as the assignments get more complex, but that's okay ;)

Assignment 1: Bouncing ball
The first thing ever. The bouncy ball was fun, but there was some issues with the rig.

The rendered version. The light moves with it too :)

Assignment 2: Flour sack. I lost the progress videos of them, I thought I would make a depressed flour sack but turned to a happy one instead.

Assignment 3: Ball with Tail
I don't remember much about this one, it's a neutral experience to work with it. Overall I'm happy with what I got.

The rendered version. I think a cool toned background might suits this more since the ball is already orange, but this is also cool.

Assignment 4: Hopping
I like this rig a lot, it's simple and serves its purpose. I still think there are room for improvement for the hop but I'm quite proud with this one

The rendered version, I was using a snowy early morning image as the reference for the light.

Assignment 5: Walk cycle. I didn't intend to make it look happy like this, just normal. But I couldn't make it look normal :((

The rendered version. The shot is overexposed, I tried to fix it but it's still really bright.

Assignment 6: Aang Rig.
Omg this is just painful to animate, foot slides everywhere in the first few version, I was just miserable the whole time. Glad it was over ;)

The rendered version. I should have went with different colored light to give them more contrast, the green light is kinda close to the background's color

Assignment 7: Swing.
One of my friend did the reference, but I was dumb and filmed them from the back. I had to use two completely different swings refs for this, it was quite hard

Rendered version. I was really into the overexposed look so it is painful to watch it now.

Assignment 8: Lifting. My instructor Glenn sacrificed himself to become our reference, it was fun. The Ik Fk switch is not very smooth tho

The final render. In the first version the lighting was so bright it hurt my eyes, this is already toned down :(((
